950 miles

by Sonja Kramer Haag

Columbia, missouri
Siting at a gas station
Waiting out a line of sever storms
The road does weird things to a person
Apparently I have a lot to say to myself
Though it’s only some what interesting
Never knew I could small talk myself before now
It’s green sky and weather alerts
I wouldn’t mind a nap
2 hours to go
A cooler with ice from McDonalds
Rolls, swiss cheese, salami and stone ground mustard
Hope it’s not raining while I set up camp
Apple for desert
Packers play Sunday and Octoberfest is going on in Vail this weekend.
I think these winds are going to carry my car away.
I would like to see a tornado
